Obamacare is definitely not perfect and needs revised, yet changes in health care were long-time coming and we cannot afford to lose important aspects of that bill--including , but not limited to, inability to refuse insurance or pay for preexisting conditions--this problem alone has caused thousands of American families not only to be forced into bankruptcy but more importantly to lose loved ones due to refusal of care. Threatening to shut down govt, even to the extent of refusal to allow a proposed alternative bill that is supported by many on both sides of the aisle, if Obamacare is not repealed in its entirity is not what the American people want--disallowing a proposed bill with widespread support that would keep the govt running is much like disallowing an American to vote because you don't like the color of their eyes/skin--it is unAmerican. Signing this petition will send a signal to those holding Obamacare hostage--after all, you the American voters have the ultimate negotiation card--your vote and what you will do with it in 2014. Legislators have time to revise Obamacare as long as they are willing to work together--time to keep our govt running is running out.
