Dubai Municipality opens 82 outlets selling pedigree dogs and cats

Existibg animal welfare shelters are overwhelmed with caring for stray, unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats. Now Dubai Municipality has opened 82 more outlets selling pedigree dogs and cats, mainly from Russia and China but some from Europe. The situation is becoming intolerable as well as heart-breaking as people dump unwanted kittens and puppies, as well as adult animals, on to busy highways and in the hot, dry desert.

The latest news coming through from Saudi Arabia is that the Government are closing all their pet outlets! Now we have to continue pressing Dubai and the neighbouring Emirates to do the same. Please contact all your friends to really have a go at Dubai. This craze for money at the expense and suffering of these lovely animals must be stopped.
