Wrongful Termination

I had worked for a company named Davita Healthcare Partners for around 4 years where I won awards, was well-respected, and did well for dialysis patients as an insurance counselor. In March of 2016, in response to problems I had with CMS medicare counselors, I had called CMS's office of the Ombudsman where they called me back and together after a call we came with partnership solutions. However, my supervisor had misinterpreted something on the call leading to what she believed a compliance violation which I wasn't clear on. This led to an investigation for what I am not sure, even after many people in HR believed the innocence of what I did, certain people in the company who did not like me terminated me due to these compliance violations. I believe this is in response to what they also believed to be me whistleblowing on some questionable practices from our department, Insurance Management Team, and Davita itself. I loved my patients and my work, I did very well and had excellent performance records. Because of the personal feelings of some management, I was subject to a termination that I still have no answer to. Lawyers will not help me because I was "at-will" employee. The company also forced me to sign an agreement to not pursue this as a legal matter and gave me money. However, since then, because I felt like I lost my family, I have not been able to find a sustainable job and have been an emotional and financial wreck. There should have been no reason for me to be terminated when I gave so much to a company with love, devotion, loyalty, and determination. All I had done was strike up conversations with CMS representatives for insurance within my scope. My goal is to go back to Davita as an insurance counselor as a full-time employee and to erase the termination if it had never had been.
