On March 13,2015, Arizona's Governor Doug Ducey signed a budget to cut education in Arizona by 166 million dollars. The governor's budget cuts threaten student health and saftey. Under these cuts we will lose counselors, social workers, nurses, audiologists,speech pathologists and attendence clerks.
Drop out rates will increase, Jted and CTE (career path classes) will be cut. 166 million dollars has been cut from school programs to support prisoners (prisons recieved a 100 million increase). As less students will be prepared for their futures, poverty will increase.
We need to fight for our future!!
