Many cities across the United States are raising the minimum wage for not just fast food workers but for other corporation chains as well. Congress and other states and cities across the United States need implement this into action for every citizen of this country to be paid fair and equal pay so that no one either american or foriengn live in poverty for being paid such slave wages so that everyone has the opportunity to advance and better their lives to become educated and become america's next median income worker at higher pay. No one should have to choose of either having to work because they are poor and to poor to even further their education cause they are busy supporting a family or a family member that is sick or disabled. Please sign this petition for Maryland, Virginia, and other states across the united states telling congress and state and city legislatives that something needs to be done for more of a golden land of opportunity to improve the quality of lives across the united states. WSIFUS sees these people walk through the doors. They are unable to cover their rent and basic needs and rely on food stamps and other programs to keep them from becoming homeless or from getting their electricity getting cut off or they are going hungry cause they had to pay all of their hourly wage to rent. If higher wages were implemented some would be able to get off of assistance and become more self sufficient willfully gaining citizens and would able to contribute more.
