Don't Let Man Who Threatened to Execute School Kids Keep His Guns!

David Joseph Lenio, a Montana man charged with felony intimidation after posting threats against children and others on his Twitter page, may be allowed to keep his guns. His trial is being delayed as prosecutors negotiate a deal that would reduce his charges.

Lenio tweeted his intent to kill Jewish leaders and "execute grade school children." He wrote, "I bet I'd take out at least a whole classroom and score 30-plus if I put my mind to it." This is only a sampling of his violent and racist tweets.

After obtaining a search warrant, officers found a 9-mm semi-automatic rifle and a Russian-made bolt-action rifle. In his vehicle, they found a .32 caliber semi-automatic pistol and more ammunition.

Lenio was arrested and released on the condition that he stop using social media. Since then, he violated the terms of his release by reactivating his Twitter account and retweeting hundreds of violent and racist messages.

A man so obsessed with killing that he would make multiple threats against innocent children and violate a court order hundreds of times to share violent tweets should not own guns. Please sign the petition to urge Flathead County Attorney Ed Corrigan to seek a felony conviction so that, if convicted, Lenio would never be able to own guns!

Dear Mr. Corrigan,

I am concerned that David Joseph Lenio may be allowed to keep his guns.
