Demand EQUAL rights for ALL Transsexual people!!

I started this campaign, basically because, with all of the LGBT rights being brought to light, those that are Transsexual will NOT be covered under those new rights....my loved one is a Transsexual and we've known each other for over 20 years.

My loved one was a fraternal twin and the twin died invitro and (as explained by a therapist) as a result the fetus absorbed ALL of his brother's dna and was born physically female, but genetically male. He has an Adam's apple....something women do NOT have. Even though he LOOKS male, those that know him STILL see a woman and have made it VERY clear that they will NEVER see them as being male....EVER!!!

I believe that they need to be UN-categorized under the LGBT community, because they are none of the above. I believe insurance companies need to make policies that would help cover part of the cost of the SRS (Sexual Re-assignment Surgery).
These surgeries are VERY expensive and most of the time, (if you're not insanely wealthy)  a lot of these people go without their surgeries and in a lot of cases, end up committing suicide because within themselves, they are one gender and on the outside they show a different one....even though they dress in the gender (and have lived their entire lives) they are internally.

So many people choose to just put them in the "T" and they're not.....They're not Transvestites (gay "trans" men) or Transgender (men with boobs or women with penises)....
They are men and women that were born in the wrong bodies.

If there were more programs (insurance or otherwise) that would help pay for parts of these surgeries, it would give those that are Transsexual a hope and a fighting chance of being NORMAL (something that MOST people take for granted).

Also, there are medical grants out there available, but it's very hard to find someone that will even LISTEN to your reasoning for wanting the medical grant in the first place. It is a very lengthy process and in the end they can STILL be denied these (basically) "life-saving" surgeries.

I just hope more people become aware of the difference between Transgender and Transsexual....Ru Paul said it best:

" In an interview, celebrity drag queen RuPaul talked about society's ambivalence to the differences in the people who embody these terms. "A friend of mine recently did the Oprah show about transgender youth," said RuPaul. "It was obvious that we, as a culture, have a hard time trying to understand the difference between a drag queen, transsexual, and a transgender, yet we find it very easy to know the difference between the American baseball league and the National baseball league, when they are both so similar."[27]"
