Donald Trump has been threatening to pull out of the 2015 Paris Climate Change Agreement. At the G7 talks, world leaders failed to convince him to honour the country's commitment to tackling climate change.
This could signal catastrophe for the Earth. Global climate change is one of the biggest threats to life on Earth that we know of. Without the US's commitment to tackling emissions climate change could spiral out of control, leading to rising ocean levels and larger and more frequent extreme weather episodes.
It is imperative that Trump commits to the Paris Agreement and ensures that the world is not threatened by his irresponsible and ignorant actions.
While Trump is not easily swayed, he is in an increasingly precarious position due to his recent mishandling of the Russian situation. Now is a perfect time to add pressure to Trump.

As someone who is deeply concerned about climate change I am incredibly troubled by your inability to meet the US's commitments to honouring the Paris Agreement.
Climate change is a major threat to the entire globe, including the US. Already, Florida is experiencing the effects of rising sea levels and things will only get worse if emissions are not curbed.
The Paris Agreement was a historic moment when the entire world agreed to work together to tackle the threat of climate change. By backing out you are threatening that solidarity and also the health and safety of the entire globe.
Now is the time for true leadership. Honour the Paris Climate Change Agreement.
