Many animal lovers will remember the STRAYS OF VOLOS, GREECE. 400 dogs were put into a forest by the Mayor of Volos last year, they died of starvation, or froze to death, it was a complete avoidable cruel outrage, all the dogs perished and this year's were due to suffer the same horrific fate until a group of animal lovers banded together and vowed they would do everything in their power to protect and save this year's abandoned souls. They have been gifted a piece of fenced land where the dogs will be cared for, loved and given veterinary care, these volunteers are truly inspirational and I would love to share their progress with you.
This is a Petition of a different type. I am asking for ideas and support for these animal lovers whose only wish is to save dogs with no hope and had only death as their future if these dedicated people had not stepped in.
