Stop the Killing of Endangered Turtles.. HELP.

Once again a so called man has decided to destroy life in the name of (moving forward) These highly endangered Green Sea Turtles WILL be killed unless we step in and make sure that it will not happen. I ask you all once again to pass the word on, write letters sign the petition, post to your Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Yahoo anything you have but get the word out as soon as you can. 
Now for some details..... Endangered green sea turtles that have been part of a University of B.C. research project for more than 10 years will be killed sometime this spring. Bill Milsom, head of UBC%u2019s zoology department, said seven turtles will be killed in order to complete a study into turtle diving depths. The turtles are at least 10 years old and can live to be 30. More than 85,000 green sea turtles died as %u201Cbycatch in the fishing industry%u201D between 1990 and 2008, Milsom said. By studying diving depths, researchers could recommend how deep fish nets should be placed to avoid catching the turtles. (NOW.... I can solve that one right now... NO more deep fishing nets allowed as they DO lead to over fishing and that IS over kill).... 

Asked why kill an endangered species, Milsom said %u201Cthey were brought in for these experiments [at UBC] and as part of those experiments, it requires harvesting the tissues.%u201D

OK now just how cold hearted is this man ?... They were brought in for this so its ok ?..... NO its not ok and I ask you all to stand with me once again and fight. Do what you have to do but get the word out.... We can do anything if we do it together... Take a stand. With respect James Howie.
