Some retailers and other businesses are allowing their patrons to openly carry firearms in their premises. As an expert in workplace violence, I can tell you this is adding gasoline to an already toxic fire. If everyone has a weapon strapped on, how do we--or the police--tell friend from foe? How do we know the person carrying had any qualification to serve as a de facto policeman? Or even how to properly handle a weapon? The gun extremists are nothing more than anarchists who would overthrow our government. Don't buy into their radical agenda. We have and must sustain a civil society governed by law, not terror. Tell the gun lobby to go to Hell. That's where they want this nation to go with them. So, step one, let's complain to OSHA that we don't feel safe working among a bunch of people with automatic weapons strapped to their backs. Tell OSHA you support workplace safety and oppose workplace violence. And let's not take this "open-carry" road to insanity. Tell OSHA to forbid firearms in the workplace!!
