Demand "The Bud" art work not be placed in Downtown Reidsville

On December 19, 2014, Reidsville City Council approved the construction of "The Bud" a horrendous 15’ to 18’ monolith structure covered in stainless steel, capped with a blue dome. This structure does not fit into the 100 year old architecture of downtown Reidsville. The contract has been awarded to a Greensboro welder. We do not want this thing, nor do we want city council to use our tax money to pay for this monstrosity.
