Stop the zoning variance! Don’t let Heritage Woods hijack a single-family residential neighborhood! Help us fight this dangerous precedent while we still can. Or your block could be next!!
On Tuesday, Sept. 12 Northbrook Trustees will be considering Heritage Woods’ third attempt to rezone the SW corner of Techny & Shermer to construct a massive, high density, 105-unit Senior Assisted Living facility covering 3 acres. Once they are allowed to start "spot zoning" in this residential neighborhood, what's to stop them from hitting your block next? Also, traffic created by additional ambulances, fire trucks and service trucks will endanger the lives of our children who attend GBN and Maple just doors away.
The Northbrook Trustees will receive community input and take a FINAL VOTE on this proposal on Tuesday, September 12.
