The prevalence of mental illnesses that go without being properly treated is an unfortunate reality in America. One in five Americans suffer from a mental illness, and millions go without adequate treatment. With the recent string of mass shootings, this reality has never been more apparent. Please sign this petition in support of Senate Bill 2680 to promote more effective screening and early diagnosis through integration of physical and mental health professions, promoting community based mental health treatment, and increasing access to mental health professionals on school campuses, to just name a few ways.
