Demand Ward 7 Representative, Phil Ahr Step Down!

Phil Ahr has been charged with four felonies: child pornography possession and distribution, criminal use of communication facility and child sexual abuse, yet he is still acting as Radnor Township's Ward 7 Representative. Although he has not gone to trial and been convicted, the nature of these crimes and the evidence collected is more than substantial to warrant this vacancy. Furthermore, Ahr's time spent away from meetings and conducting Township business is large since these allegations came to light, leaving Ward 7 without a present Representative. If you are a community member of Ward 7 and registered to vote, please consider signing this petition. Thank you. Edited to add: Thank you! Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to force Ahr out as our Representative, since there is nothing in the Home Charter (as structured by the PA Supreme Court) regarding misconduct before a conviction. Still, I'd like Radnor Township and the PA Supreme Court to know where the 7th Ward stands on this issue. I'd also like to note that the Township Manager and Police Superintendent are doing a phenomenal job making sure we stay safe and are sensitive to our community at this time and are just as outraged.
