In order to operate as a motor carrier (a taxi cab specifically)in the state of Pennsylvania, a motor carrier license has to be issued to an applicant. The city of Washington has not had a cab service providing both hail and on call/on demand services for over 30 years. It is understood that this service will help improve the quality of life for residents by providing reliable transportation to those in need and the creation of jobs while also making it more convenient for tourists and visitors to better experience the city of Washington.
