The City/Public Work's attempt to change the present construction of the Midtown Green Zone into a 3 lane thoroughfare will destroy the urban living that thousands of people have invested via their homes and businesses. It will make it unsafe and unsightly. It will destroy the charming character of Midtown and will push residents and business elsewhere. It will convert the long ago approved Midtown/Bagby redevelopment (that has been moving along nicely) from the envy of Texas into a nondescript busy thoroughfare.
