Demand that all new buildings in The UK are fitted with Living Green Roofs, to reclaim lost land for nature

  • by: Pete Perry
  • recipient: Elizabeth Truss, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs

When building are contructed, precious green space is taken away from wildlife. Simply by adding a green roof to the building, (Grass, sedum, flower meadow), that space is replaced on top of the building, to enable grass, which provide us with oxygen, and flowers, which ultimately produce seeds and fruit, to grow, thus attracting wildlife such as birds and bees. It also provides excellent camouflage from the air.

Please sign this to encourage green roof buildings, which replaces the land taken away from the land. This provides us with oxygen, a habitat for wildlife, and also acts as a camouflage from the air.
