OUR KIDS AND COMMUNITY DON'T HAVE TO DIE TO BE HELPED BY CALTRANS.

Enlight of " multiple" close calls, accidents and people getting hit and hurt in the city of willows, only to have Caltrans tell us they're not going to help, the people of willows has had enough.
This petition is to bring LIGHT to the day to day, 24 hour dangerous conditions our children and Community face in our town, due to the lack of safety equipment on our streets. Wood street and other surrounded areas by our schools, needs to be safer for ALL to cross.
There has been many accidents of people being hit, or close calls involving our children and us, and Caltrans refuses to help. Caltrans excuse do not help us is because there is not enough accidents and or tragedies to warrant any assistance.
We are here to tell Caltrans, and the city of willows, that OUR LIVES are NOT a gamble, our lives and our children's lives matter, and we as a community shouldn't "WAIT" for one of our own to be killed, for officials to do their jobs.
They work for US, not the other way around, and we demand action NOW.
As a community, we demand our crosswalks, on ALL roads, WOOD and surrounded areas, be equipped with lighted beacons to warn oncoming traffic that someone is Crossing.
We DEMAND, that ALL surrounded streets in and around our schools, have a crosswalk guard or lighted beacons, and police patrol.
We DEMAND that all school zones have flashing lights, slowing traffic to "15" miles per hour, and added crosswalks to areas where children cross the most.
On wood street, we as a community DEMAND flashing crosswalks at ALL crossings, being this road faces east to west, and the son makes it Hard for drivers to see pedestrians.
This has been a problem with our community for years, and its time our voices be heard and action be taken.
We already got the media involved, and we will not stop till our tax money is used the correct way.
