Stop the destruction of wetlands and the environment South St Augustine

There is a proposal to build apartments at the intersection at US 1 South and Watson Rd south of St Augustine,FL.This would border and likely be on a marked wetland area. Not only would this be detrimental to the wetlands as well as the fact overgrowth has outstripped the roads and this would severely impact the residents already living down Watson Rd well as the surrounding area. This "Put up a parking lot and pave over paradise" attitude has to be stopped. The wanton destruction of our wetlands has to be halted.
This to address both the damage to wetlands and overdevelopment of US 1 South at Watson Rd and it's impact to those living in the area. Roads are already over capacity and the traffic down Watson Rd is getting heavier and heavier. The wetlands are marked as protected and would be of special concern.
