Currently, Canada is working closely with Kurdish forces to push back ISIL in Iraq. However, new reports from Amnesty International state that our Kurdish allies are destroying entire villages inhabited by Arabs.
As allies, Canada must demand that these crimes are not to be tolerated. By publicly denouncing the attacks Canada will send a strong message to its allies that we believe in peace in the Middle East and that there are other peaceful resettlement options.

However, due to the Hussein regime's displacement of Kurds during his reign in Iraq some Kurdish troops are taking back places they were displaced from years ago.
