Internship Class is Not Sociology

Internships are used by students to learn about their career choice in a real-world setting. There, hands-on skills and knowledge learned in school are applied and improved for the benefit of the student. As Veterinarian Technician students, we are expected to perform certain tasks that revolve around the medical realm in relation to animals.

Our Internship class has become nothing more than a Sociology project. Instead of discussing methods of enhancing our experiences at our sites, we have done nothing but talk about our personalities according to a non-mandatory DISC test. The VMA does not require this, nor do professional clinics, but because this 'professor' wants to experiment with her new found power, she's willing to harm our grade by 10% to enforce her way.

This is unacceptable.
