Mandatory indigenous studies for public high school in California

After completing high school, I realized that there is only false, or no information taught on Indigenous Indians in High school. Considering the amount of suffering that Natives have and still face today amazes me. My Goal by making my making it mandatory in Public High Schools it will raise awareness of the challenges Indigenous people face today.

My connection is taking a Native Class at CSUSM and learning of their history.
