Raise Alberta speed limits to 130 KM/h

Speed limits have not changed since the metric system was introduced, and that change was minimal. The vehicle technology has improved in many ways, braking and handling, tires are much better quality as well. The speed limits in British Columbia have been raised on some highways to 120 km/h and the roads are more of a challenge to drive in British Columbia. Speed limits in Europe are 130 km/h on most highways. Most people currently drive 120 -130 km/h, that tells me that the limits should be raised. It has become more of a money grab from honest tax paying citizens. The savings in the legal system would be lower as there would be fewer tickets therefore fewer court cases. With higher speed limits I believe there would be freer flowing traffic reducing the need to pass.
