Thank Governor Bullock for Protecting Bison

"Two decades of work to restore wild bison across western landscapes is paying off.

The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission has decided to transfer 146 bison from quarantine to 25,000 acres of rolling prairie on Assiniboine and Sioux tribal lands on the Fort Peck Reservation in Montana.  The Fort Peck Reservation is already home to over fifty bison transferred there in March 2012 because of the actions taken by the state of Montana. Thank you for taking further action to grow the wild bison herd, which can serve as the foundation population to bringing wild bison back to other tribal and western landscapes.

Help keep up the momentum for wild bison by thanking Montana Governor Bullock for agreeing to transfer bison to tribal lands."
