After watching PBS's Frontline series, "Money, Power and Wall Street" online and seeing the mistakes that President Obama made, letting the banks get away with excessive bail-out money and the continuation of toxic practices, I've almost lost faith in him. And I'm not alone.
He needs a ground-swell of public opinion to let him know we support a move to abandon the proposed Volcker Rule and get behind a tough new Glass-Steagall Act.
He also needs to know that we support bold actions such as:
1. turning over the mortgages on the hundreds of thousands of empty houses, and the crime-ridden neighborhoods they've created all over the nation, to local-owned banks that can give low-interest loans to populate those houses while the global "legal" owners of those mortages are untangled over the next decade or so and
2. demanding that Congress set a date for the big banks to begin paying back the 7+ trillion that they actually took from the American people.
