Pyrenean Lynx - one of the rarest species of mammals. According to the assessment by 2005 its population is only 100 individuals. For comparison, at the beginning of XX century there were about 100 thousand by 1960 - already 3 million by 2000 - a total of 400. Included in Appendix I CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora), as well as lists of the World Conservation Union (IUCN), the category I (animals, endangered).
