Save the Critically ENDANGERED Species of Yangtze Giant Softshell Turtle NOW!

The ONLY known female Yangtze giant softshell turtle in China died on 13 April 2019, which means there are only THREE individuals of this species left in the world (a male turtle in China and the other 2 in Vietnam). The genders of the 2 turtles in Vietnam are unidentified. The goal of this petition is to persuade the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology to find these 2 turtles and identify their gender(s). If one of them is female, then artificial insemination between this female turtle and the male one in China might be used to produce offsprings; thus increasing the population of this ENDANGERED species. Jane Goodall once said: "What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make."
