Stop the Death Sentence in Indonesia

Readers, 9 convicted criminals will be facing execution in Bali in less than 72 hours. They will be killed instead of receiving life imprisonment or any other alternative sentence. This will take away any good thins they could do, or any amends they might make. 36 countries use the death penalty at the moment and have either sentenced or killed people with it in the last 10 years. 50 more reserve the right to use it, but haven't in the past 10 years. How is this still happening?

The people who are being sentenced to death are not mass murderers, they were drug smugglers. But these drug smugglers are truly reformed people, not psychopaths who will never regret their actions. One of the people being executed even has a mental illness (and it's illegal in Indonesia to execute someone with a mental illness).

The death sentence breaks the human right to live.

We need people to take a stand against capital punishment. We have less than 72 hours, but we can make a change.
