National Litter Home Front Awareness

Our country is a beautiful place. We can no longer stand idly by as our excellent country continues to be diminished in others eyes from our own actions. We will never receive the respect we deserve as a superpower among nations unless we show true faith and loyalty to our country extending beyond protecting our home front. If we can not take out the trash that exists in our own home and show that we are capable of properly caring for our own home then we will never prove to the other nations that we truly deserve the right to protect and look out for our brother and sister nations. That can be started on a small scale as brothers and sisters at home. I believe that until we can drive a long our streets and see them in the same fashion as we view our constitution (spot-less) then we can never demonstrate true birthright as a superior nation. I believe that something as simple as everyone banding together one day out of the year and dedicating 10 minutes to cleaning up the mess that is our home that we can never truly fix our real problems. Even as a child we are taught that any child can make a mess but it takes a man to clean it up. If we truly are looking out for our future then we can demonstrate such by showing that our values instilled in us as children as set forth by the media still exist in the men and women to this day as adults. If these are truly respected values;why have they not been retained throughout adolescence and proceeding on to adulthood. I believe something as minute as picking up our own messes and cleaning them up can impact the nation in multiple ways. Many tax payers dollars are spent wasted on cleaning up our streets when it has simply been our job in the beginning since adolescence. Why should tax payer dollars be wasted on things we can do as people. That is almost as contradicting as throwing away money to make place for monetary possessions. That is why I believe one day out of the year should be recognized as a National Litter Home Front Awareness pivotal point each year ending in our national anthem being played for "the peoples' " ears as a reminder that we truly are a beautiful, clean, and progressive proud nation.
