National Heritage Radio Pakistan Lahore

    Every nation has its own cultural and social heritage. Like our DNA, heritage determines who we are. It transfers our identity and values to the next generations.
    It's a tough ask to preserve the heritage and passes on to the next generation. Considering the importance of cultural and social heritage, an increasing number of countries have launched have launched initiatives designed to preserve and protect their heritages.
    It includes; the natural landscapes, arts & craft, monuments, buildings, institutes and the objects that reflect the ways of life and history of each country.
    There are many factors can destroy buildings and treasures from the past that include Wars, conflict, pollution and climate change. But, the most prominent reason is human neglect.
    We are living in Information & Technology age, and we cannot deny the importance of Media and communication. The Radio Pakistan Lahore has been serving us since the creation of Pakistan. The news about the creation of Pakistan was broadcasted by Mustafa Ali Hamadani on 14 August 1947 from the Radio Pakistan Lahore.
    Therefore, the Radio Pakistan Lahore has its significance, but unfortunately, it has not been recognized as the National heritage.
    We demand to recognize the Radio Pakistan Lahore as national heritage and protect/ preserve it as an asset. Please sign the E-petition to spread the voice.
