Demand NCFarmFamilies.Com to Pay For Their Lack Of Empathy!

NC Farm Families, an organization created to protect the rights of farmers to slaughter animals, has crossed a line. On Sunday, July 22nd, they posted a cruel, twisted photograph on their Facebook page. Pictured was an innocent pig with an identification tag, seemingly trying to enjoy the sunlight he had access to before being sentenced to premature death. They decided to further their corruption by labeling it "Is That Bacon I Smell?". We all know the abuse that goes on towards "meat" animals. Even if they are raised "humanely" by the farmers (there is nothing humane about being raised for slaughter), they are still sold to a market where unimaginable suffering occurs.

When many people expressed their disgust and outrage; they went on to defend slaughter and the inhumane practices that go with it. They compared identification tagging of pigs to "people getting their ears pierced"; as if consensual human piercings for aesthetic reasons were in any way comparable to a tag that sentences an innocent animal to death- not to mention that countless rescued pigs from slaughterhouses have notches and scars in their sensitive ears forever due to this practice.

We want MCFarmFamilies to pay for what they've done. Whatever they do to try to make up for this disgusting display will not take back the lives they encourage to be murdered. Enough is enough. We demand a $1,000 minimum donation to the nonprofit organization Farm Sanctuary which helps to restore the surviving animals' lives from slaughterhouses and farms, as well as a removal of their Facebook page. Advocating for the death of sentient beings and mocking their suffering will NOT be permitted. Tell them so by signing this petition!
