Any true Democrat is appalled at what you have done to the DNC and the primay procedure. Every American who died for this country, beginning with the Revolutionary War gave his life for the right to vote, to have a government in which he can freely express his beliefs, to have fair elections and "No Taxation Without Representation", and also to ensure that no state leaves the Union. How could you create and cling to party "rules" that contradict these essential principles? Florida and Michigan voters deserved full representation in chosing a presidential candidate, irreparable damage was done by even delaying it. The 50% compromise is a deep shame that the party will carry forever, and McCain will use to his advantage every chance he gets. I cannot begin to consider voting for Obama until you resign. ( And I vote EVERY election, 1980 was the first time, up until now aways a straight Dem ticket.)

Howard Dean has run the DNC into the unethical zone so that it is barely distinguishable from the GOP. His total and utter disregard for the election process by trying to stop a close race and bullying delegates/superdelegates to back Obama was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in politics. It is also THE reason I will be voting for Senator McCain. Regardless of all the manipulating he managed at the convention, MI voter WILL NOT FORGET the 1/2 vote fiasco and I highly doubt Obama will win here. Once again, the DNC failed to produce an electable candidate.

The women in the Democratic Party are tired of the "good old boys" system. We are tired of being disrespected and used. It is time for you and the "good old boys" to step aside. For the first time in my life, I will vote and contribute Republican.

I'm apalled that Howard Dean and a few others tried to get Hillary Clinton to step out of the race before it was over and that they only care about the black vote. What about the rest of us. I will not vote for OBAMA this November and if the DNC continues with this kind of leadership then I will change partys!!!

Howard Dean did not properly perform his job as Chairman. He unfairly favored one candidate over the other. Additionally, he allowed one candidate, and maybe even helped, to manipulate the process in order to rob the nomination from the other candidate.

His leadership or lack of leadership in the Democratic Party is really UNDEMOCRATIC. What gives him the right to SELECT such an unscrupulous candidate as Barack Obama not to mention the lack of overseeing a truly democratic process play out. He should be ashamed and should resign immediately. RESIGN HERE RESIGN NOW.

Since Dean has decided that he has the right to decide our presidential nominee and not the public vote, then he should not lead the Democratic Party. The party is for the people and by the people. He has overstepped his power. It is time to have a leader and not a dictator.

Mr. Dean, please step down from this position, you are slanted in your support of Obama, and are anti-woman in politics. You should be ashamed of your conduct. I am no longer a dem, I am now Independent until something changes. Thankfully you were not a presidential candidate.

Mr Dean,I encourage you to step down as Chairman of the DNC due to ineffectiveness of running our real democratic party to the ground. I want my real DNC back and I personal feel that you hand picked Obama and turned him into a rockstar and made the media fall in love with him. Again, save us our headaches please step down as soon as possible in the best interest of our party.

As a Florida voter, I am still appalled and aghast at how we were treated by you and the party leadership. I am horrified at your early crowning of Obama as the nominee. You have done this party some terrible damage this year, which will take years to repair. Please, please resign.
I have been a proud Democrat all my life, and this year I am just embarrassed by the party, the nominee, and the ugliness that you tolerated about women.

I had been a Democrat all my life, but now feel betrayed and slapped in the face with my voice. I have requested my new voters registration as Independent now, and will "never" vote Democrat again, after the way the DNC treated Hillary. I am a 52 yr. old Hispanic lady with 2 college ladies who also feel the same. You, Dean and Pelosi were both "very" bias from the beginning. I hope Obama loses so you can regret what you did. Dean, you are a disgrace to the people, you are sexist, bias and very discriminative. Stop being such a hypocrit.

Howard Dean you need to go. Superdelegates need to go. The DNC needs an overhaul. You practically shoved Hillary off the stage. While we are at it, Pelosi needs to go also. You did no respect my vote by practically giving the nomination to Barack and the hearing on the Michigan and Florida votes clearly favoured Barack. That was the final straw. I will not cast my vote for Obama. You have lost my vote. I will vote Republican.

From what I read from the news, it was my understanding that Gov. Dean
demanded that Senator Hillary Clinton remove herself from her candidacy
prior to the May 31, 2008 decision about the Florida and Michigan primary
results. The Florida/Michigan decision is apparently tainted. Certainly,
there is a need to impose some sanctions against states not following the
DNC's rules, but disenfranchisement of voters and reduction of delegates
awarded to Senator Clinton, thereby destroying her campaign, should not
be acceptable to members of the Democratic National Party.

I made a big mistake supporting Dean's 2003 campaign. He's disenfranchised voters and made backroom deals to select a nominee instead of honoring the will of the people. Dean, Axelrod, Obama, and others have made a politburo of the party of Jefferson - shame on them and down with them. I have requested my voter registration be changed to unaffiliated and will not return to the Democratic Party as long as Howard Dean and Barack Obama are its (mis)leaders.

I think we should ask Mr. Dean to step down given the undemocratic and bias campaign that he and Mr. Reid as well as Mrs. Polosie ran against another democrate. It was enough for me as well as a number of life long democrates to doubt the direction in which the present leadership is headed. I find myself looking at the Republican nominee as an option for President. The media as well as the democratic leadership have sicken me with the new god Obama. while it should not be important, I am African American, and have no trust is this unknown Democratic presidential hopeful Mr. Obama.

This is a petition for you Howard Dean to resign. You and your fellow workers are a disgrace to the Meaning of Democratics.I am asking the following to be done at the Convention in Denver announce that Hillary is still a Candidate, which she is, Give back her votes you gave Obama and apologize to HILLARY CLINTON. SHE IS OUR GIRL. And if you think you are going to treat her LIKE dirt under your feet, you are greatly mistaken. She had over 180 million popular votes more than anyone in history, but you favor your fair haired boy so after you do the above, we ask for your resignation and If you don't do this, we as AMERICANS ARE READY TO GO ALL THE WAY TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE FIRED. THE SUPREME COURT SHOULD LIKE YOU IN THE COURTROOM. They know what you did and are just waitng to see what you are going to do. WE HAD WAITED SINCE BUSH WAS ELECTED HOPING AND PRAYING HILLARY WOULD RUN AND THEN YOU GO AND DO ALL THE UNDERHANDED THINGS YOU HAVE AND PICK OUR PRESIDENT, NO THANKS. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE HILLARY CLINTON ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, EITHER DEMOCRATIC OR INDEPENDENT. SO YOU HAVE ALOT OF WORK TO DO AND I'M SURE ALOT OF SPEECHES TO MAKE, JUST BE SURE THEY ARE TRUE. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AT THE CONVENTION AS WELL AS MILLIONS OF HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTERS. AND IT BETTER BE IN DENVER, NOT LIKE OBAMA SAID SOMEWHERE TO KEEP DOWN THE PROBLEMS.

Just one year ago, if someone had told me that, after 8 years of Bush, I would be considering casting my first ever presidential vote for a Republican, I would have told them they were crazy. But that is happening thanks largely in part to the dictatorial turn the DNC has taken under Howard Dean's (lack of) leadership and the arrogance of Donna Brazile.

There has never been drastic measures as I have seen done by the DNC. For the Democratic Party to stoop so low and hand over the presumptive nomination to Obama is shameful, and criminal to say the least. I have voted "democratic" my entire adult life, and for this 63-year old Hispanic woman I will not cast my vote for Obama. Sen. Clinton is the most electable and viable candidate who in the primary campaign, won the majority of swing states, the popular vote, 18M+ voters. Her group of people who voted for her were young people, middle-class, blue-collar workers, seniors, women and Hispanic, and Native-American voters. Dr. Dean, and the rest of your colleagues in the DNC need to hang your head in shame. This country will not end up well; it is already being destroyed and having Obama as "your selected nominee" will only destroy it more than it has been done over the last 8 yrs. The people who voted for Sen. Clinton will vote for Sen. McCain in November. It is a disaster that the DNC and the likes of Pelosi, Reid, and others have truly spit on democracy and have hijacked this nomination. The will of the people has been stomped on and kicked to the curb. Where is fairness, justice, and integrity among any of you? I see none - only corrupation.

This election has been tainted beyond repair.
The failure of the Democratic party to support their long-term Democratic Powerhouses - The Clinton's - was a huge mistake. The wishes of the majority of the Dems hard-core supporters were thwarted and we were all "thrown under the bus".
Let the party fall to the youth and the zealous and inexperienced power-seekers and see what happens.
With Hillary you know exactly what you are getting - maturity/experience/commitment/intelligence/strength-under-fire/and a representative of the Majority of Americans (5 million plus - and a higher percentage at 45 & older... the Wisdom years!) who have been patiently waiting FOR MANY YEARS to be represented.
Obama is a Wild Card and carries a LOT of baggage and no real political History. Everyone projects their own hopes upon him because of lack of history and because of his eloquence. And would-be democratic power-seekers want a chance to become advisors - a chance not as likely with Ms. Clinton who already has her long-term & dedicated circle of advisors working for her. Obama could have easily waited until the next election cycle - or could have accepted the V.P. position to allow for time to get White House experience. Then ALL would have been happy. The biggest DISGRACE has been the silence of the Dems as Hillary was destroyed in the Press. Blatant prejudice and misogyny was ignored by her own party. THERE WILL BE PAY BACK FOR THIS HUGE ERROR.
You have thrown ALL of us women Under-The-Bus. We tasted the kool-aid but thought it too sweet and lacking in nutrition and rejected it. And the majority of Americans agree. But yet we will not be allowed our candidate who did WIN in our eyes as she surmounted an annihilation from every side and managed to maintain wins in state after state in spite of the hatred spewed at her from the pundits (and the quiet from the Democratic Headquarters).
Myself - a lifetime fervent Democrat - now finds it impossible to vote for such an inferior and fake candidate as Barack with huge baggage and endless "lapses of judgement". His naivete is striking.
"I did not have politics with this man"... he says of Rev. Wright. PLEEZ !!! That is the response of a teenager caught in the act! Not the President that will deliver us from the most horrific situation we have experienced in the history of Modern Humanity. He does not deserve to be the "President/ Leader of the World. He has not paid his dues - we do not know him - and he has not done anything except deliver articulate speeches and look good on camera.
THINK.....
If the Democrats are divided about voting for Obama... that MANY feel disenfranchised like I do - then HOW will the Dems win this election???
THINK THINK THINK... before it is too late. The Convention can set things right again !!! Let Hillary take the position she is suited for and Barack take the presidential apprenticeship as the Vice President. That is the ONLY WIn-WIN scenario for the Democrats.
There is too much at stake this time to lose... again.
Substance over Glamour !!!!
Our only hope.

I have watched this primary from Day one....What you all did to Hillary Clinton was disgusting. You should be removed!!....Make no mistake about it there are millions of us who will not support BHO and you will pay in November for SELECTING the nominee.
