I am a single mother who is simply trying to make a life for my daughter, I would like my daughter to have her passport to travel with me and have holidays under the Australian family law it states both parents need to sign the passport form but my daughter father is not consistently in the picture or wants to be a good person and let her live a life. Chloe passport was denied due to the fact her father has "parental responsibility" becuase his name is on the birth certificate and by Australian law this means any legal document has to his approval or signature.Months have gone by with not knowing where is, where he lives. I believe that I am a good citizen and a stable person in my community that is trying to leave a bad situation behind. I come from a good family who do volunteer work in the community and are respected.
