Being in the construction business I work a lot in basements or in places that have window wells below ground. I find all sorts of animals, reptiles that have fallen in by accident. But no person to see this has happened or have no way to signal anyone this has happened because people are unaware of this because these windows are covered, or space is being unused or what ever the case the windows are not being looked through. Because how many people really want to look out the basement window? I think if cities, towns and HOA's sent out reminders to people in monthly news lettter or or some easy way to remind people not to forget to check occasionally that creatures or small animals can get trapped in these spaces. There is no need for these animals to die. It takes a couple minutes to check windows for these animals. I have seen enough animals in window wells to finally want to speak up because if I seen these many imagine how many other poor animals are right on the other side of the glass dieing and nobody knows. I hope everyone that reads this cares enough to see that this is more of a issue if they take a look in there basement window wells.
