change The Name Name From Ballou To Marion Barry.Jr. High School

Frank W. Ballou, former DC Public Schools Superintendent (1923-1940), was a staunch Segregationist. In 1939, when Howard University want to have the renowned African American Marian Anderson perform a concert at a Washington, D.C School, Ballou would not allow it because she was Black. Let take his name off of Ballou High and replace it with the name of our former School Board President, Ward 8,Councilmember and Mayor, Marion Barry , Jr. Let the School Name reflect someone who did so much for the people, especially Ward 8 residents, where he lived and work so hard in Washington DC
