Save allotments: green space to be destroyed for car park . Parish council meet tonight 26th July

Allotments are the key to local sustainability they provide food and produce for the community, much needed activity and socialisation for local people , they support the environment for providing a home for urban insects birds and animals ,and are an oasis in our sprawling concrete of green fertile ground . The local government are attempting at the last minute to rail road through plans to commandeer the allotment land to make way for a car park for the station. In the constituency of Theresa May ! I am not against providing facilities for the station as it encourages use of our railways however this needs great debate and cannot just be pushed through the back Door , to destroy part of our environment and heritage and community without first consulting the local community. The parish council meeting is tonight 26th July . Please sign my petition to call for a delay in any decision and a formal consultation before continuation
