Helmetta Residents pay a very reduced school tax rate than Spotswood residents even though their children attend all of our schools. By the formula set up by the Governor they pay 22% of the cost and Spotswood residents take the brunt and pay 78%. Milltown (who sends their children to our high school) is billed correctly and is charged for each student for the full cost to educate. Let's balance this scale to make rates FAIR!
