Demand the illegalization of leaving animals unattended in cars!

It's that time of year again, where the heat rises more and more each day and pet owners leave their animals suffering under the suns rays locked in motor vehicles. Every year the same thing happens where hundreds of dogs are left in the car unattended in the hot sun and every year dogs are killed by the heat and owners are left with no penalty whatsoever for the neglect to care and keep their animals safe! Numerous states have laws against these kind of actions and are punishable by tickets, jail time and fines.

It's time that Connecticut steps it up and DEMANDS that proper treatment of their animals be administered and the hundreds of dogs who are forced to suffer heatstroke, dehydration and death each year is stopped!

Please take the extra step by contacting Connecticut Secretary of State and asking them to illegalize the poor treatment of animals in hot weather!
