When CodeHatch initially unveiled StarForge, they promised an infinite, procedural, voxel terrain, infinite space with voxel asteroids, as well as procedural weapons. When they started their IndieGoGo for additional funding, they promised us a dynamic ecoystem and voxel liquids and lava.
With key features such as liquids, procedural weapons, and the infinite world removed from the game with the transition to Beta on Steam, and the removal of writing that promises those features, coupled with the lack of clear direction and communication from the developers, it's now very concerning that CodeHatch intents to release StarForge soon.
CodeHatch, confirm that you still intend to honor your promises and legal obligations! If you cannot do that, then you should at least be offering compensation in some manner.
As the game stands, you cannot even deliver upon the promised donation perks for IGG backers like naming a town or terrain feature, naming a procdurally generated weapon, or unique pickaxes or spacesuit armor. They may seem petty, but you are legally bound by the IGG terms of service to deliver!
