Stop The Wisconsin Wolf Hunt Before Oct 15th!

Now that Congress has eliminated federal protections for gray wolves, it will be your responsibility to prevent a second extinction of these animals in the wild.

In order to ensure a lasting future for these ecologically important animals, you must reject extremist calls to eliminate them from the landscape and let science, not politics, drive your decisions on wolf management.

As of the following news article links and the testimonies of qualified dog expert, Patricia McConnell is quoted as saying "wolves seem able to quickly dispatch canids smaller than themselves (ie.

coyotes and most dog breeds). When confrontations occur between wolves, clashes are

prolonged. "

and also the testimony of wolf behavior expert, Richard Thiel;

In general Act 169 and the proposed rules are neither prudent nor in line with

Wisconsin’s 35-year tradition of evidence-based wolf policy. The precautionary principle

(first do no harm) upheld repeatedly in the literature on conservation science

recommends small, initial steps in new policy and an adaptive management approach

(learn to act, act to learn).

The wolf is not vermin but a grand trophy animal to be hunted with respect or not hunted at all.

Then, the fact Wisconsin is the only state allowing Dogs to be taken into this hunt? Dog fighting is a sport in Wisconsin? Canine vs Canine in a dark night dog fight?
