Stop using the fur of China Cat.

China cat fur can sometimes be found in some Chinese markets - it is used to create a traditional hats. Chinese cat poses no immediate threat to humans or livestock. These animals have a certain positive value as predators that control populations of small rodents in the areas they inhabit.

 Chinese cat - a rare beast among the 5 most vulnerable feline world, has been included in Appendix II CITES. On very rough estimates, the number of Chinese cat - less than 10,000 mature individuals, adults, with a tendency to further reduce their number.

Recent genetic analyzes suggest that all modern cats 6,2-10,8 occurred millions of years ago. Chinese cat strayed from their ancestors about 6.2 million years ago.

Chinese cat - the only cat that is completely endemic species in China. There are three subspecies: Felis b. bieti lives in Sichuan and Gansu provinces, Felis b. chutuchta comes from southern Mongolia, and Felis b. vellerosa found in the north-eastern province of Shaanxi.
