Demand Immediate Halt to Legalized Murder of Family Dogs by Police in Battle Creek Michigan

The United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit ruled Monday, 12/19/16 that police officers (in Battle Creek, Michigan) are justified in killing (shooting, etc.) citizens' pets (i.e. dogs, cats, etc.) even if those animals are not attacking or attempting to attack them. This sets the precedent that your dog can be killed just for being a dog. If your dog, or other companion animal, moves, it's dead. If the dog barks, it's dead. If the dog does anything other than sit silently in another room, the dog can be killed. Even if the dog is silent in the other room. police can still kill them just to make a search for arbitrary substances much easier.

The Appeals Court Judges who made this ruling are Judges Moore and Clay (Circuit Judges) and Hood (District Judge) made this ruling. Please review and sign this petition demanding that the Police Department in Battle Creek, Michigan must immediately cease this inhumane, cruel, and despicable practice, which authorizes the senseless slaughter of dogs and other companion animals, in their homes, if the animal is not completely quiet and silent.

Also this petition is asking that this ruling of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth District in Michigan, be formally appealed and reversed or overturned. This vicious, inhumane, and horrific practice of murder must be stopped. Thank you very much for
your attention and for your kind compassion for innocent animals.
