The Ebola epidemic is spreading fast and with non-compulsory, insufficient and ineffective screening it's just a matter of time before this deadly virus will be on our doorstep.
Please vote for our government to stop Ebola in it's tracks and protect our country from this virulent virus by restricting ALL international travel to and from the UK!
The countries presently affected by the virus need our help to contain, control and eradicate Ebola -By providing mass quarantine and treatment centres in their countries this will be achievable, but, if we leave ourselves open to receiving this epidemic on our own soil it is inevitable we will certainly be of NO use to provide this help!
If serious actions aren't taken now then it IS just a matter of time before we are faced with this terrible virus for which we all know there is no vaccine and no cure.
We can't rely on people 'not' entering the UK because they feel unwell, how many would adhere to this or take the 'voluntary health checks' offered by international airports! Indeed how many would arrive totally oblivious to their carrying of the virus, without symptoms and during early incubation -The potential consequence of free travel is ludicrous.
These precautions may well have an effect our economy, but the effects would be temporary and certainly trivial compared to the economical crisis and carnage which would ensue if the virus was to take hold.
