Keep Principal Dave Gallup at Allard School

Allard Community,
This is a petition we implore you to sign. We will take this petition to the Moon Area School Board and Dr. Milanovich. Our reason for writing this petition is stability and consistency in our school, JA Allard, and our children’s education.
Teacher bidding took place Monday, April 25th after school. Out of the current 14 classroom teachers from this school year, only 2 have bid to stay. Out of the 10 classroom teachers, during the 2014-2015 school year, none returned this year and none will be returning this fall either. This means out of 24 teachers, only 2 familiar faces will be teaching at Allard in the fall of 2016.
As for administration, Allard has had 5 principals in 7 consecutive school years. With so much change in the classrooms, stability and consistency are necessary at this critical time in the role of principal. Keeping Mr Gallup will allow for a more conducive and positive learning environment.
In 2010, Allard had another season of significant change among teachers. This was a successful transition, due to a strong principal leading them through. Principal Gallup likewise has successfully led an almost entirely new Allard team through one of the most delicate transitions in our school’s history!!!
Principal Gallup is the most familiar with our families, our children, our community. The children in our school have developed a trusting and steady relationship with Principal Gallup. He was at the helm during all the construction improvements done. He knows our new building inside and out. For Elementary school children it is VITAL to provide them with continuity.
Principal Gallup is a steadfast choice for our kids and our community. Please sign this petition to have your voice heard for consistency and stability at JA Allard.
Dear Dr. Milanovich,
The Allard community started a petition to keep Mr Gallup as Principal. We feel that as the Allard community we need to share our concerns and implore stability. There is some wisdom to slowing down all the changes that have been happening for the sake of our kid's education. As for administration, Allard has had 5 principals in 7 consecutive school years. Another major change for another school year is too much for our children to bare, especially for those receiving an Individualized Education Program. We respectfully ask that you consider all options for Allard's stability and continuity in terms of Teachers and Administration. We will continue to collect signatures and move forward with this until we have exhausted all our time. Our greatest concern is stability for our school and we simply want what is best for our children and community. We believe it is best for our school to not change Principals once again. We understand there is so much that needs to be corrected due to the previous governing Superintendent and Board members. However, we strongly urge you to hear our parent's and children's concerns-in order keep-uniformity and stability. Our community appreciates you taking the time to read this and hearing us out.
