As a proud Kentucky resident and registered voter, I am appalled that Kentucky's Mitch MConnell has aligned himself with Donald Trump and his racist, divisive run at the presidency.
It's hard to pick one worst thing that Trump stands for. As a woman, of course, I am concerned that he thinks women seeking an abortion deserved to be "punished." Trump's anti-Muslim comments, which include the mad notion of deporting Muslim Americans in good standing, is extremely troubling--even assuming that he could never act on such a position.
His "wall" between the US and Mexico is ridiculous. The Mexicans are never going to pay a penny for that, and there's no way he can make them. But possibly the most troubling thing that Trump has said, in my mind, is that the delegate system of choosing party nominees is fine so long as he is winning. This comment suggests to me that he has no moral center, no actual sense of justice, and no real commitment to democracy.
If enough of us speak out, we can convince McConnell to rescind his support for Trump's flawed candidacy and deal a blow to a candidate who would divide our country for his own personal gain. Please join me in asking McConnell to rescind his endorsement of Donald Trump.

It is disturbing to me that you have chosen to endorse Donald Trump about whom I know you have some serious reservations. Basically, it looks like you have chosen to endorse anyone but Hillary Clinton. This is not a savvy decision. Trump's many comments add up to racism and elitism. He seems to think that people should vote for him because he is rich, not because he has a sense of fairness or any knowledge of foreign affairs.
