Changing the Age of sexual consent in Hawaii from 14 to 16

I'm a single mother of three. A family member was sexually assaulted, molested and attempted rape by a 16 year old male in our neighborhood. She was 12 years old during the molestation and child grooming phase . She was threatened on social media and through her cellphone by a very disturbed teen. She was 13 when the attempted rape, life threat and abuse occurred last. We are working with THE CHILDREN'S JUSTICE CENTER on Maui. I'm Petitioning to CHANGE this age limit. It is not safe, appropriate, or moral. A he said she said is taking place in court. Although, by law, our family"s victim is protected by her age, I DO NOT WANT to see this happen to another middle school girl or boy by a high school student or adult predator.
