Transparency of Finances at Newman University

Newman university students can expect a 4-6% raise in tution every year. However, students don't know where this money goes. Students pay an extra $1,000-$2,000 each school year without any question and the only expaination towards the raise is "pay raise for well deserving faculty" or "technology advancements", but students don't truly know if this is where their money goes.

The point of this petition is not to say the University isn't truly using the money to pay their staff more or upgrade the computers (which cant even read a USB, by the way), but rather a need for transparency.

As a private institution, Newman doesn't have to release the information (which they havent), but it would bring a piece of mind and trust that is currently lacking on campus.

Signing this petition means you support Newman University releasing a specific audit of where the funds (from the tuition raise) will be alloted.
