We Request That a Public Inquiry be held Regarding Management of The Victoria Pier In Colwyn Bay, By Conwy County Council.

This request is due to the questionable management of The of this Historic Grade II listed Victoria Pier by Conwy County Council. Starting From the early days of the community backing the restoration of the pier up to the present day demolition submission by the council. It's also about The Council Not supporting those wanting to save the Pier. Sending awarded money back, clearly what could be described as sabotaging all attempts by The Pier Trust Group and the town council to Obtain grants to restore the Pier. Clearly Conwy Council are not the best suited body to work with any aspect of Restoring this wonderful structure. So why aren't the council listen to the public, the town council and the trust?
What else do the council need to destroy? Yet the council spend millions on building that is the carbuncle on the prom, yet allowing a Grand Grade II listed building to decay, whilst regeneration goes on all around it. Well enough is enough, this madness has to stop. And due to the Council owning the Pier, no one can request emergency repairs or a compulsory purchase of The pier as the Council own it, so it could be suggested that it serves the councils agenda to watch it decay, and use this in their justification for demolition. 
The Pier needs to be taken out of the Councils hands and given to a more capable body, until then, we need an inquiry as to the reason it has ended up like this.
