United States is falling behind in producing bilingual graduates.  Long continous contact is needed to be proficient in a second language.  Withou early foreign language study, our students are not learning an essential communication skill for jobs of the future.  American needs more bilingual businessmen and policy makers to keep America competitve in a global market and in good relation with other countries.  Giving our youth better education will not only benefit them, but the rest of the nation as they grow older and run our country.
